Treatment for me – zufällig bekam ich diese Behandlung 

Das Gefühl mit dem ich heute die Treppe runter und über die Terrasse zum Strand gelaufen bin, kann ich schwer beschreiben. Ich fühle mich leicht, wie eine Feder und unbeschwert. Die Morgensonne wärmt meine Haut und der blaue Himmel verspricht einen neuen Sommertag.

Die drei letzten Tage mit Wind und Regen haben in mir eine gewisse Schwermut ausgelöst und das Gefühl der Sommer hier auf Kreta könnte vorüber sein. Ein langärmeliges Wollunterhemd und mein Winterpullover kamen zum Einsatz, trotzdem habe ich abends auf der Terrasse gefroren.

„Take a deep breath and relax“ – ich versuche den Anweisungen von Karim zu folgen und hänge völlig entspannt, wie ein kleines Kind in seinen Armen. Meine eigenen Arme sind um mich selbst geschlungen und ich fühle ein leichtes Ziehen und Knacken in meiner Wirbelsäule. Karim hat meinen ganzen Körper behandelt, von den Füßen über Bauch und Rücken, zum Kopf, Ohren und Nase. Wie es dazu gekommen ist, dass ich eine Behandlung von ihm in unserem Zimmer bei Conny und Jorgo bekomme, ist eine der vielen Geschichten, die ich von Lykos erzählen kann.

Meine Trauer darüber, dass ich nicht wandern kann gepaart mit meinen Schmerzen, die eher schlimmer statt besser geworden sind, haben mich in den letzten Tagen arg mit genommen. Es ist nicht übertrieben, aber ich war ziemlich deprimiert und ich hatte nur einen Gedanken: „Ich will nach Hause !“

Warum ich nicht eher auf die Idee gekommen bin einfach die Straße hoch, statt des felsigen Wanderweges, nach Livaniana zu gehen, weiß ich nicht. Jedenfalls haben wir das gestern trotz beginnendem Regen und Gewittergrollen gemacht. Zunächst hat mein Liebster mich begleitet und nachdem er wieder zurück kehren wollte, bin ich alleine weiter gegangen. In Livaniana gibt es eine Taverne, in die ich einzukehren vor hatte, vorausgesetzt sie ist geöffnet. Da von Ferne Stimmen zu hören sind, ist davon auszugehen, dass das der Fall ist. Beim betreten der kleinen Terrasse war ich zunächst irritiert, denn die Besitzerin bekam ganz offensichtlich eine Massage oder ähnliches von einem jungen Mann. Außer ihm und der Besitzerin saß eine Frau mit am Tisch, alle drei schienen sich gut zu kennen und obwohl die Situation recht intim war begegneten mir alle drei mit außergewöhnlicher Offenheit. Es ergab sich ein schönes Gespräch, in dem ich auch bald über die Schmerzen in den Füßen  sprach, woraufhin der junge Mann mir anbot: „I can give you a treament“.
Normalerweise sage ich in so einem Fall reflexartig „Nein“, weil ich mit meiner Fibromyalgie extrem ängstlich bin, was Berührungen betrifft.

Allerdings ging es mir die letzten Tagen emotional so schlecht, dass ich mich nach einer Veränderung sehnte und das Angebot von Karim behandelt zu werden, erschien mir wie ein Geschenk. Ich habe auf dem ersten Blick gesehen, dass ich ihm vertrauen kann und sagte mutig und gleichzeitig unsicher: „Okay“.

Heute, nach der Behandlung und nachdem ich das erste mal seit Wochen ohne Rückenschmerzen aufgewacht bin, fühle ich mich, als sei eine gewisse Schwere von mir gewichen. Ich fühle mich leicht und lebendig, mein Körper fühlt sich an, als sei alles, Knochen und Organe, sortiert und zurecht gerückt. Mein Körpergefühl ist „richtig“, so als sei innerlich irgendwas wieder „connected“. Auf wundersame Weise fühle ich mich so wohl wie schon lange nicht mehr und ich bin voller Dankbarkeit!

Auf eine gewisse Weise gibt es hier in Lykos immer wieder ähnlich geartete Geschichten und Begegnungen. Meine Freundin, zum Beispiel, hat sich einen Fuß verletzt und ehe sie sich versah, hatte sie einen Arzt und eine Physiotherapeutin um sich, die ihren Fuß versorgt haben.

So habe ich Lykos kennen gelernt: ein Ort an dem es möglich ist interessante und individuelle Menschen zu treffen und gemeinsam etwas unbeschreibliches Schönes zu erleben!
